What it Means to "Man Up!"
We use Joshua 1:9 as a foundational verse:
Joshua 1:9 declares, "This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." This theme of bravery and courage is central to the Man Up! Men’s Group, reminding us to rely on God’s presence as we navigate life’s challenges.
1 Corinthians 16:13-14 further encourages us: "Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong. And do everything with love." Together, we seek to live out these commands by supporting each other in our journey of faith.
Why Join Man Up?
The Man Up! Men’s Group is a space where men come together to grow spiritually, be strengthened by God’s Word, and take on life’s challenges together side-by-side. We are here to lift each other up, pray for guidance, and be the men God has called us to be.
Fear and discouragement can hold us back in our walk with the Lord, but God commands us to "Man Up!" — and He promises that He is always with us. At Man Up!, you’ll find encouragement, friendship, and the tools to live a life of bold faith.
What to Expect
When you join Man Up!, you can expect:
- Weekly Gatherings: Through our Men's 260 Bible study groups, we have weekly times to fellowship, grow in God's Word, and engage in deep discussions about life and faith. CLICK HERE to our 260 group where you can find where our men are meeting.
- Seasonal Gatherings: Several times each year we band together to go deeper into a topic that calls us to move forward as God's men.
- Support and Accountability: A group of men who are committed to growing in faith together.
- Prayer and Encouragement: Be supported through prayer as we seek God’s direction and purpose for our lives.
- Community Service: Opportunities through our GO TEAM to serve together and make a positive impact in our community.
