"Only let us LIVE UP to what we have already attained." Philippians 3:16
Every Wednesday our youth group, Live Up, is gathering at SM4 to have a socially distanced gathering from 6-7:30 PM. All junior high and high schoolers are welcome! Plus, starting on April 14, the youth will be going through a curriculum, called Alpha, to learn some of the basics of the Christian faith and what it means to be a disciple of Jesus. Please bring your youth students with their masks to the church every Wednesday to enjoy a time of playing games and having open and honest conversations about faith.
Our main goals are to provide a space for the youth of Santa Maria to experience grace and discipleship. Our youth need grace more than ever, and we follow Jesus’ example by embracing all types of people in a fun and forgiving community. We commit to discipleship by being dedicated to growing personally into who God has called us to be. To “live up” is the daily choice to grow in your love for God, others, and yourself.
Beyond our weekly gatherings, we also go to winter and summer camps at Camp Cedar Crest near Big Bear, CA, with other Foursquare youth groups from our So Cal district.
And we have a great group of adults who serve our students!
