I'm New Here
Welcome! We're glad you dropped by.
Steps to Enjoying Your First Visit
We're easy to find at 709 N. Curryer St. — at the corner of Alvin and Curryer — about mid-way between Broadway and Blosser. We're directly across the street from Robert Bruce Elementary School. You'll find parking lots on either side of our church facility, and you can enter on Curryer St. CLICK HERE to find the easiest directions to SM4.
We won't embarrass you as our guest — in fact we all wear name-tags to make it easy to meet people and so no one feels like a stranger. Just grab a name tag in the courtyard (along with some free coffee and donuts!) before service and enjoy yourself.
4. The Kids
Each Sunday we provide fun, safe, age-appropriate experiences for your children — infants through 6th grade — designed to help them discover God's love! You can be confident that ALL those who work with our children have passed a national background check. We also use security cameras in all areas where children are present to help ensure a safe environment. To enhance safety, we use a digital check-in system – come to the courtyard and you'll see the kids' check-in area! (Parents: read below about Fifth Sundays!)
While every Sunday is special, you may show up when something extra special is going on!
- SECOND SUNDAYS: Every second Sunday of the month we offer a class after service for those who desire to be baptized in water here at SM4.
- THIRD SUNDAYS: On the third Sunday of each month we worship in two special ways — we have water baptisms during our services and we celebrate the Lord's Table by sharing in communion together.
- FOURTH SUNDAYS: We host a guest reception at the end of our services on the fourth Sunday of each month. This is for you! Drop by the Curryer Room, get some coffee and cookies and meet our pastors and others. We'd love to get to know you!
- FIFTH SUNDAYS: Several times each year there are five Sundays in a month and we use these opportunities to have our kids join with us in the main services (Kindergartners and up). We value the next generations and believe it's important for our whole church to experience inter-generational worship!
