Reaching Our Spanish-Speaking Neighbors with the Gospel

We are one church with two congregations,
loving Jesus and each other in both English and Spanish.

In a world where God’s love knows no boundaries, we are called to reach our Spanish-speaking neighbors with the life-changing message of the gospel. At SM4, we embrace this mission by offering a community where everyone—no matter their language—can experience the love of Jesus Christ. With open hearts, we aim to extend the good news of salvation to every individual in our city and beyond.

Why Reaching Our Spanish-Speaking Community Matters

Our community is home to a growing number of Spanish-speaking families, individuals, and children who need to hear the gospel in a way that resonates with their culture and language. Language is a key to understanding, but love is the universal language of Christ. By providing services and ministries tailored to their needs, we are not only fulfilling the Great Commission but also building authentic relationships across cultures. We believe that everyone deserves to feel welcomed and seen as part of God's family

About Us

Baptism: A Step of Faith for All Nations

At SM4, we believe baptism is a profound declaration of faith, symbolizing the new life that believers experience in Christ. Our outreach to the Spanish-speaking community includes a clear invitation to follow Jesus and take part in this sacred act of obedience. In Matthew 28:19, Jesus commands us to baptize in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and this call extends to every individual, regardless of language or background. Through baptism, we celebrate together the power of transformation that Jesus brings to each life.

Building a Community Through Kids, Teens, Men's, and Women's Ministries

Ministry at SM4 is about cultivating relationships that reflect the love of Jesus. From our vibrant children’s ministry, where kids are introduced to the Bible through fun, interactive experiences, to our thriving teen ministry that encourages young people to say “yes” to God and walk boldly in their faith, we are committed to building the next generation of disciples. Our men's and women’s ministries provide spaces for deeper connection, growth, and support. Through small groups, mentorship, and shared prayer, these ministries foster a community that upholds one another in faith, no matter the language.

As we reach out to our Spanish-speaking neighbors, these ministries will continue to grow, offering resources and opportunities for everyone to engage with the gospel and find belonging in Christ. By expanding our kids, teens, men’s, and women’s programs to include bilingual or Spanish-specific offerings, we are saying “yes” to God’s call to serve and empower all people.

260 Bible Reading Plan

Grounding Our Lives in Scripture:
The 260 Bible Reading Plan

At SM4, we believe that reading and meditating on Scripture is essential to spiritual growth. That’s why we encourage every member of our church to participate in the 260 Bible reading plan—a structured way to journey through the New Testament over the course of a year. This plan is designed to deepen understanding, foster daily engagement with God's Word, and equip every believer, whether new to the faith or a lifelong Christian.

For our Spanish-speaking neighbors, we offer resources to help them join in this transformative practice. By providing the 260 plan in both English and Spanish, we ensure that all members of our community can be united in scripture, allowing the Word of God to speak into their lives, regardless of language.

The Gospel Transcends Language and Culture

The message of Jesus transcends all barriers, including language. At SM4, we are passionate about sharing the gospel with our Spanish-speaking neighbors because we know that the love of God is for all people, regardless of where they come from or what language they speak. Our desire is to create a welcoming environment where they can encounter Christ in a way that speaks to their hearts.

We are dedicated to providing bilingual services, resources, and events that make it possible for every person to engage with the gospel message and feel like a valued part of the SM4 family. Whether it’s through worship, Bible study, or serving together in our ministries, we are building a community where every voice is heard, and every person is seen.

Join Us in Saying Yes to God’s Call

As a church, we are continually saying "yes" to God’s call to love our neighbors, especially those who are often overlooked or underserved. We invite you to join us in this mission. Whether through volunteering in our outreach programs, mentoring youth, participating in our men’s or women’s ministries, or supporting our bilingual services, there is a place for you to make a difference. Together, we can share the love of Jesus with our Spanish-speaking neighbors, and together, we can transform lives.
