It's open for (fun, laughter-filled) business!

Between Mother's Day and Father's Day 2017, the Santa Maria Foursquare Church raised over $28,000 to complete the funding for a new, beautiful Neighborhood Playground for our community. This project, with a total cost of nearly $140,000, is now open!

The Neighborhood Playground not only serves the many children of our church family, but ensures that the hundreds of kids in our neighborhood have a great place to play every day of the year!

Thank you to the City of Santa Maria! We received a $10,000 grant for the Neighborhood Playground from the Recreation and Parks Commission — and we are very grateful! Pictured above is Councilmember, Etta Waterfield, presenting the grant on Mothers' Day, 2017.

Dedication 16-9

Hundreds were present for the dedication of the Neighborhood Playground, on Sunday, July 16.

Construction 16-9

Though construction took longer than anticipated, the Neighborhood Playground was ready for its Grand Opening on September 16, 2017, at our annual Fiesta!
